gavinvr6 0
guys i know this can take a whole year of questions, suggestions and ideas but im just after the basicswhat can i use to fill the indicator hole's? its a rather large opening and i dont do plastic welding so thats out of the question. (indicators to be moved into mk4 style lights)can i epoxy (or grip fill, its a bodgers best friend) some plastic rectangles into place then smooth over them or will the epoxy crack under the paint and ruin the finish?whats the best way to key the surface to get the fibre glass to stick?should i use fibre glass mat and smooth that or glass filler and smooth that?any body who works in a bodyshop or fits kits would be helpfull here, i really like the smoothed front and ive got a bonnet extension to smooth in aswell for that moody look so any tips on doing that so i dont crack it first time i open the bonnet would be good
Phat VR6 3
You only need an old solering iron to plastic weld your bumpers. Get an old rear bumper to use to fill it up (its got the right tyre of curve so you use less filler)Theres a tread on E38 somwhere.. hopes this helps
