SankysVR6 1 Posted May 6, 2008 Report Share Posted May 6, 2008 Has anyone rebuilt the gear shift lever, i.e. new bushes and re-grease the moving parts. As I'm tempted to try it. As I want to shorten the gear stick down, but want to retain my original gear knob.So was going to buy a new stick and take it to an engineering shop to have it shortened and re-tapped for the original knob.
