hopefulVR6owner 0
i have now owned my vr6 for a couple of months now and have only used shell optimum but last weekend i filled with regular esso unleaded (as shell garage closed) and this past week haven't seemed to have used as much fuel as normal. but i do near enough the same mileage every week, also whilst during this past week i haven't noticed any difference in performance. has anyone got any answers as to why this has happened and would anyone recommend using only regular? Ben Seabrook 4
What he said ^^^^ but in answer I don't think it makes much difference at all performance / fuel economy wise which petrol you use - I remember seeing an article saying that if you put a better grade in once a month or so it helps to clean the engine and make it run better but unless you have a really high powered highly tuned car I dont think it's necessary - inmo
