is there anyway to dial in more lift-off oversteer into my vr6 's hadling , its got a set of supersport coilovers on it which in my opinion are rubbish ! although they make the car adjusable under braking , its a bit neutral mid corner and id like it to be a little more active .

Would a decent set of coilovers and uprated anti roll bars help or am i gonna have to get adjstable top mounts for added camber ?

thanks.

only very slightly , im talking 2 degrees of negative camber . The supersports do not ride very well , they bob over the bumps rather than ride them and it takes ages to settle. they were on the car when i bought it ans cost like 200 quid dont they ? just a case of getting what you pay for . Ideal if you just want to liower your car, Make sure you grease tyhe threads massivly as mine were seized , lost so much skin on my knuckles due to this .lol

Yep you can get 2 degrees negative on the standard set up. Just take it to a tyre fitters that has a lazer tracking and camber tool and tell them what you want.

I got supersports where £300 when i got them lol. There the only coilovers ive driven on and made a massive improvement over the standard surpension.

Now u mention it i know what your saying about "bobin" over bumps. They are very bumpy. I just thought thats how hard coilovers are lol oh well

So do you think 2 degrees neg will improve handling? Im getting mine set up again soon. might try it tell us how it goes

i had 3 degress of neg camber on my skyline and 1deg on rear , turn in was amazing , so direct and precise . definately gonna do it on my vr. didnt realise the standard camber was so adjustable , tyre wear wasnt really that bad either.

As for the supersports. i stand corrected , they are £300 . they do make a massive improvement over the stock vr but that isnt really that hard to acheive. the fixed damper rate is way off though , i had a set of kw variant 2's on my old mk 3 gti16v and they were amazing , really good firm ride without the bobbing and nervous =nous the supersports have. But for 300 quid they are fine , Im just being fussy . When youve had a better set to comapre them too you will know the difference immediately .

scandanavian flick is basically weight transfer of the car causing it to slide , basically if you are entering a left hand bend , you slightly steer right before you make the the initial turn in to the left hander, the sudden change of direction will un weight the rear end as you lift off and hey presto , your sliding . you may need dab of brake just after you lift off to help the bk end round.

Ah yeye i had abit of that.. Is fun lol. I went for 1 deg neg in the end. Seems abit sharper on turn in but i think 2 deg would have been better
