balboa 0 Posted April 17, 2008 Report Share Posted April 17, 2008 Hi guys--got a mk2 vr6 (corrado lump)---recently when pressing the accelerator the car is making a very weird rattling sound it seems to be coming from the small block to the left of the engine where i believe one of the vacuum pipes goes into--this block is right next to the MAF----any ideas what this could be guys???many thanks as always Link to post Share on other sites

If you're pretty sure it's a vacuum line going into this "block" crimp the pipe so that engine vacuum doesn't act upon it, rev the engine and see if it still makes the noise.
