bulldog 2
When I had my tyres I supplied fitted to my rims at the tyre shop I use (most my way employ you chavs or grown up no brain chavs) which have tyre fitters in their 50's and years of experience, the old guys all said the tyres wouldn't fit the rims (195/40x16" onto 8" rims) but they do as you all know. They were suprised they fitted and had never seen it done before, I had the impression they thought I was a twat for doing it.The guy balancing the wheels balanced the first 2 wheel till I noticed with hammer on weights on the face of my D90's, I made him stick on alloy weight behind the spokes which didn't like doing because he thought I was being awkward. They said the tyres being stretched would make the tyres therietically CROSS PLYS as they would have no side wall movement and that the car wouldn't handle, I had the same tyres on 9" rims before with no problems, and I still have no problems and the car handles well as it is.Should this set up ruin the handling as they said or is it the tyre fitter being scared of something they done know or understand.
