crish72 0
Had new collies on for about 200 miles and a creak has developed at low speeds (might be happening at higher speeds but the engine noise drowns it out..)If i pop the bonnet and bounce the front up and down i can hear a creak/squeek coming thru the top mount as it bounces up and down, not a loud one by any means but one that's bugging me...When i fitted the collies i wound them up :-# (rubbing issues) so the helper spring is now very compact - could this have anything to do with it? I was thinking of removing the Helper spring - would that be ok to do?Doubt it's the top mounts/bearings as they were brand new 10,000miles ago...Any suggestions?CheersChris

jws vr6 0
Try spraying WD40 around everything, might shut it up. WD40 can fix anything!
