what would cause the power to drop out at 5500rpm?

if its not running 100% its a waste of time putting it on a dyno really as it does put the engine under strain as its getting all the max output figs

b4 I had mine up at stealth I got it vagcomed just to check it was 100%

yea but it might be the fuelling thatsthe problem or the timing and the dyno will show that up, i,m worried it might be running lean so i pulled a plug and it seemed not too bad i,ve ordered a a/f gauge off the bay cos none of the suppliers around here has one

Thats why its better to not take it above 4000 untill is been custom mapped, then it makes sure its running 100%, before you nail it, it leans off and damages something

fitting the charger does require the timing to be adjusted and obviously the fuelling aswell

just out of interest did you fit a 4bar fpr?
