Gog 0 Posted September 12, 2004 Report Share Posted September 12, 2004 Apologies if this is a duplicate post - I'm sure I posted it last week, but can't find a trace of it on the forumsI'm looking for a recommended garage/mechanic in the bristol area. I've got a load of small wear and tear jobs need doing at the moment, but I'm also interested in getting some modding done (stiffen the suspension, try and get some torque at low/midrange - but I am a complete noob, so I'm not sure what's involved Everyone seems to think very highly of Stealth Racing, and they're only an hour or two away, so maybe I'll get in touch with them for the mod work. Would be interested to know of anywhere decent local to the south west too.TSR is located in Somerset which isnt to far but Ive heard they are a bit expensive really. vdubgirl 3 Posted September 13, 2004 Report Share Posted September 13, 2004 Hey Gog I'm also from the Bristol area I really cant recommend TSR as they are slightly overpriced and I dont think there that good with VR6's :-( although they are good with some other dub stuff Depending on what work you need carried out my B/f and I have a friend in Yate who owns a garage and he can do mechanical work and body work as well. If you need any more info or send me a email or PM Claire Rich rear axle bushes are a B1tch to do and ian still doesn't have a prob doing you suspension if you need him to :-) Link to post Share on other sites
