jezmoz 0 Posted February 25, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 been given these numbers bolt is under......021 109 507 a and there is another one with the same number but a B on the end.The number for the seal is..............N 013 827 1am i right in thinking that the B bolt is the one i require??????? VR6_Absy 0 Posted February 25, 2008 Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 I thought it was advisable to use the later bolts on all models as they run on both oil pressure as well as spring tension rather than being totally reliant on oil alone.I'm using the OBD2 bolt on mine as well as all the OBD2 guides and touched wood everything crossed all seems well. VR6_Absy 0 Posted February 25, 2008 Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 VW don't like supplying non standard parts but the thought of a spring loaded tensioner as back up in case of oil starvation is piece of mine for me. Guide wise, who the f**k every thought it would be a could idea to rivet a bit of plastic to a steel back plate and hide it in the engine, solid plastic is the sensible way to go Link to post Share on other sites
