sticks 0 Posted February 1, 2008 Report Share Posted February 1, 2008 hi all just got me vr6 well pleased and tracked your site down ,one thing ive noticed is that not always when im taking a right turn i get a clunk noise i did have this problem before in a citroen van and it turned out to be a broken spring but god knows,all your help appreiciated,thanks its a 97 auto r plate Link to post Share on other sites

Bobtrude 0 Posted February 2, 2008 Report Share Posted February 2, 2008 Ok, I had this problem: The first time it was the inner tie rod link that connects the steering to the wheels. The silver one on the picture. The other time it was the exhaust that was slapping around. . . . . You can feel the difference if the "clonck" is notisable in your hands trough the wheel, or if you feel it trough your ass. Dont forget to change the boot.
