Hi peeps, i`m having trouble finding a good place to get my coilys fitted. i`m based in canning town in south east of london, have called up a few places they dont fit them because they said it will need specialist blah blah...i also tried elite direct but they dont do it either unless the products is brought from them arghhh...

i have a set of FK highsports and i wish to get them fitted asap as the VR is of the road for a whole month =(. could anyone recommend me or even know how to fit them, of course i want the best price hehe, i do have coilovers at the moment but i bought it of ebay and the fact the front 2 were leaking, buyer didnt even say ><, said were fine when he had them. money wasted. please let me know thanks alot =)

yeah i was thinking DIY, but do i have to take some top part of the current shocks for the new ones, e.g bump stop or something. the FK are all intact unlike the ones i had before, which the mechanic had to take the original top mounts and use it on the current coilovers i`ve got.

if only you`s were local, could take on a par time job hehe.

will i need a spring clamp? my cousin just told me. but how the new coilovers look, its all setted up and the top part is secured + at the tip is another screw which i can undo easily, i think that is for the bump stop? will have to remove it from the suspensions which are one the car now. this does seem like a easy job after all but i am just a chicken lol.

i have my axle stands and a 2tonne jack, along with socket sets, tools etc i think i`m ready =)

"phat vr6" i meant my current coilovers on the front 2 are leaking as i bought it 2nd hand of ebay lol, but i went through MOT only last month, i passed surprizingly. Now i have purchased a BRAND new set FK highsports so i`m wanting to get them fitted asap as the cars been off the road for a whole month.

Should be easy, I did a mine last month, not coilies but standard lowering dampers, you might wana invest on an impact gun, works wonders, find them in argos for around £20, also if you are going to sell the rear colies then let me know as I am looking for some??

Thanks

PS; Also know a good mechanic who can do the job at your house for a good price as well.
