Glyn Mk3 0
I've been wanting to sort the handling of the VR since I bought it in Sep. I can't really spend a lot, but have found some FK editions (coilover front and adjustable rear platform) with fixed damping £290 incl. VAT and del. Has anyone used these shocks before?? Also how much am I looking at to get them fitted? Cheers
binliner 0
You wont find coilovers any cheaper than that and if the FK konis and highsports are anything to go by it should handle a lot better than standard plus you'll be able to slam it as low as you want (max drop is -110mm!!) Theres a guide in this months the Golf mag for fitting Mk3 coilovers ... theyve used FK editions for that!
Glyn Mk3 0
Cheers, might have to check the mag out Probably end up paying to get them fitted professionally though!!
binliner 0
I would guess it'd cost about £50-£
Guest Olly_K
get it done properly, the car will need 4 wheel alignment geometry afterwards
