S.H.VR6 0
Hi I have a 92 model VR6 and the idle tick over isn't very smooth. when I start up from cold it runs ok, but as the engine warms up it stats fluctuating. It doesnt stall, but is quite bad, when I accelerate fast it sometimes sorts it for a while. Any suggestions, regards Shawn
SteveWalker 0
Hi,Normally and allowing for unknown air leaks it is the ISCV that sits on the engine top just under the spark plug cover and has a couple of pipes running to it. These get clogged with crap over time and need a really good clean. Take it of the car and then with some carb cleaner blow it out and work the valve very carefully. Once you have soaked it and soaked it again put it back carefully. You should have a solid idle then when warm.Details for removing it are on the this site.Steve
