Bad water leak (help)

After driving for about 20 mins I stopped at a round about and steam was coming from under my bonnet. When I pulled up Steam was goming from every where.Under the bonnet water had splashed out all over the air filter box and all over the manifold hence all the steam as its dark I cannopt see where it has come from, has this happened to any one or do you know what it could be................... thanks in advance :-(

could be one of you pipes off the cylinder head or heater Gav? it may just be a small split so it will spray everywhere, needless to say dont drive it!! get it home and dry it out then check it in daylight, im sure it will be an easy fix of a new hose, i had it last year and it was the one just behind the cylinder head in the back right corner, goes to the heater matrix at the back of the bay, cost me £35 and about 1/2 hour to do it

havnt been on lately and walk straight into people wanting to beat coppers up and people ranting about what cars they should drive!! everyones an armchair expert (in the "gareth hunt" coffee bean way, if ya catch my drift ) its a good job those rhino skins are still available

I agree with Jim its probably just a small split in a hose - I had one and its an easy fix once you can find it
