mightyvr6 0
probably best to replace it. vrs run quite hot and at fairly high pressure so a repair wouldn't last. A new one costs about £80.

lingy 0
hi m8 just replaced my rad this is what i did before you start drain the rad take the bottom hose off !!!remove all the front light connectors and push light harness clear (just unclip it form slam panel)makes it easier!Take your head lights out four small bolts each two minute jobOk take the grill off, then take your indicators and reflectors off star screw driver needed, be carefull not to brake the little plastic pieces off the indicators as you wont get them to sit back on right, Next theres bolts behind the indicator aperature ~(15 mil i think ish)within the bumper, release these ,Theres four in all then just inside the bumper if i remember right theres two one each side 12 mill bolts i think this is where the bumper holds to the front chassiss. thats all the front loose so you should then ,Remove the four bolts that hold the rad to the fan housing , Then the rad is loose remove the pipes just off rad leave them hanging Now you should be able to remove the rad from fan assembly with a little wrangling replace with new one and replace all your parts dead easy took me two hours with a break in between, I couldnt believe how easy it was and how easy it is to strip the front end off sombody will probably put me right though this is how i did it hope it helps you regards lingy 8o) [ Edited Sun Aug 22 2004, 10:25AM ][ Edited Sun Aug 22 2004, 10:27AM ][ Edited Sun Aug 22 2004, 10:28AM ]
