scampi 0
SInce I purchased my VR6 it has been stuttering a bit and has gradually got worse!Today I was driving it and go to about 80 on the motorway and it was just so juddery and stuttering it was unbearable really. Also had a few pops also from somewhere, could that be the cat that's gone? It's had a service 2000 miles ago so can't be that needs doing. I'm new to the watercooled thing so i'm still trying to find my feet really.Anybody any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Ciaran 4
well it's basically got to be missing so coilpack, leads or plugs.Try starting your car at night and pop the bonnet see if you can see any arcing. If there is none get a VAGCOM done could also be a dodgy crank or cam shaft sensor.

Damien. 0
Would large holes in the exhaust cause the car to have running problems ? I reversed into a rock the other day which ruined by back box. It fell to peices because it was so rusty and i havent had the chance to replace it yet.
