Karr-Man 0
i got round to fitting the caps to my TT comps today and as recommended gently rearranged the rear hub dome protector with a hammer to let the caps fit...worryingly though the centre of the domes is now pressed against something inside (i can see the ridge in the centre of the domes) is this a problem? have i been too enthusiastic with the hammer or is this what u guys experienced?would like to know asap as i dont wanna do any damage by driving till i am surethanx
C17LJR 0
Hi mate,This shouldn't be a problem as long as you didn't use a sledge hammer!underneath the dome is a bolt, retaining cap & split pin, can see that you'd have done any damage.Carl
xyber 1
itll probably be the top of the bolt, hook the domes of with a screw drive and check just to make sure
