markirel 0
Maybe a dumb question but I am going to ask anyway (have searched the forum but no answers). On my drivers seat, the foam in the base, to the right (the bit that your ass rubs on getting in and out), has collapsed but the cloth itself is in good condition. I'm not looking for a retrim (yet) but wondered if I buy a 2nd had passenger seat in good condition, can I transfer the foam over - just the right hand bit. Assuming I can how much work is involved and what should I look out for so that I make a good job.Thanks.
SankysVR6 1
I had this problem on my GTI but it had also worn away the fabric, so there was a hole there. I got a quote for £40 for a new bolster and a new piece of fabric. So it might be good idea to get quote for a repair first to save you all the hassle.
markirel 0
What sort of place did you go to for a repair? For that kind of price for both a new bolster and fabric its definately the way I need to go.
