bobda 0
I'm getting my original BBSs refurbed soon and was pondering over a slightly different colour. The wheels are in pretty good nick, not much kerbing at all, just a bit of corrosion and bubbling under the paintwork. I've found a local place who will shotblast and strip them down and do two new powder coats and lacquer for £140 for the full set, which I thought was pretty good.Should I get them redone in the standard silver colour, or something slightly different. I was thinking along the lines of a light gunmetal grey - it would probably suit the dragon green colour. What do you reckon (to the price as well)? :S I promise I'll eventually post some pictures of it when the BBSs are back on, I've only had it a few days, but I don't like the current 5-spoke TSW wheels, even though they are almost brand new! purple highline monster 0
i just got a set of BBS RM`s for my mk1, i am stripping them, making them waaaaaay wider with new outer rims and bolts and im having the centres powder coated gloss black by a local firm for £30 a rim, so the price you got seems decentas for colour change, a gunmetal would look pretty good, but i prefer the original silver on standard rims personally
blondie 0
I had my standard BBS redone. They were done in a vauxhall grey is h colour. Yeh I kno its not quite standard but its a lil brighter than the last grey. £25 a corner I paid.
