philbatesvr6 0 Posted August 30, 2007 Report Share Posted August 30, 2007 is it worth doing ? i bought a second manifold and down pipe and i had rewelded the down pipe and ported out the manifold i was just woundering if it was worth heat wrapping it ?wat are the pro's and con's of doin this as well ? The benefit of heatwrapping are 2 fold!the first is to reduce heat in the engine bay. So if your air filters etc are all shielded then no real issues therethe second is it does actully help draw the hot gasses away! Just a right pain to do LOL Link to post Share on other sites
