biged 3 Posted August 10, 2007 Report Share Posted August 10, 2007 hi every one,can any one tell me if tt cabrio hubs or 52 plate a3 hubs will will go straight on to a highline with no issues? i've been gettin a rubbing,whining weird noise from down the front i changed the discs and pads and even the strut top mount bearings and bushes but the fekin noise is still there. i was told that it it sounds like something in the hubs is rubbing i dont know,the wheel bearings have no play in them theyre tight, ball joints are fine cv boots are fine all bushes are uncracked and theres no leaks of any type of fluids anywhere to indicate something might be drying up {other than my patience} euro car prats want 120 sheets a side for hubs,no way.i have a 2.0 8v gti as a winter runner and was thinking of just robbing it of its hubs,any and all input will be greatly appreciated cheers,ed. :-( Link to post Share on other sites
