matth76 1
A new MAF shouldn't be that much. You should be able to get a recon MAF too for much less. Brand new ones are very delicate and therefore no more reliable than recon MAF's.
MonkeyJug 0
hopefully you got it sorted, but i had the exact same symptoms a couple of months ago.got my ht leads replaced and that sorted it...
Guest m4towenvr6
nope its not sorted put air flow metre on n no change. lads i need all of you to hava think about this one for me il try and explain the problem a bit better. it wont tick over till its warm for a start. then as you accelerate to near 2000 revs it like chokes the engine, i makes it look like its running on kangaroo juice. on tickover when its warm it constantly sucks through the filter and it never used to. iv let 2 mechanics look at it now and none them know what it is, iv had it on a code reader and sum mechanic hooked it up to a lap top n that gave him no clues, one of the mechanics says hes convined its electrical..... HELP PLEASE :-(
Charged vr6 0
so you have done diagnostics? and there have been no error codes :S...personally i would check leads, plugs, MAF, hall sender (coil pack) and even the oxegen sensor (lamb sensor)..does it rev over 2,000 revs? if so does it judder all the way ?
