ben_notts 0 Posted June 18, 2007 Report Share Posted June 18, 2007 did you fit it yourself? is it just a ballast/bulb setup thats a universal fit as its down to the bulb fitment or do you have to redo the loom on the back of the headlight - the reason im asking is that i have mk4 headlights on my Vr but they look like a nice conversion for reasonable cash. cabrioman 6 Posted June 18, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 18, 2007 its a real easy fit u get everything u need, the kit replaces the standard bulb all u have to do is mount the ballast remove the old bulb cut a hole in the cover on the back of the lamp ( the removable cover ) fit the gromet with the wires fit the new bulb plug the correct wires in the plug that went on the back of the old bulb plug it all into the bassat and ur done ...... the kit come with really good instructions if u need them but ti real easy to do about 30 min .......
