VR6Pete 1,455
sounds like you've got a short.... check the rear cluster... sometimes they leak and corrosion occoures on the tracks... does it happen if you put your hazards on too? that will rule out the indicator stalk... jellsta 0
yeah it does, seems its all down to the left side. only right side flashes when arming the alarm. checked the rear cluster all seems to be fine. must be somethiing under the bonnet as they worked for a while whilst things were wet
VR6 DUBBER 0
Hey Jellsta, I have got a simlar problem, all my right indicaters stay on, the back had coroded so I changed loom, and wires and boards and still get the same problem. Problem came on when did not use car for couple of weeks, the light stays on in the dash aswell, the lights flash when the alram arms and dis-arms, i noticed the blown fuse and changed that and the relay. I am really angry withn this problem as I can't seem to fix it and my last resort is to try and change the idicater stalk.Went to an electrical garage and they told me oh we will have to come and drive your car to our garage for £60, yeah right, thrash my car and then I give you 60 quid. Don't think so. Any ideas anyone cus my car is of the road now.HELPPPPPP !
xyber 1
Would taking all the bulbs out down the problem side and then trying front, rear and side separatly on their own, atleast narrow down which position was causing the short? At least then you could start at the dodgy bulb end and trace back, might work?
