spreadz07 0 Posted May 31, 2007 Report Share Posted May 31, 2007 Hi allI am new here and sorry if I have posted in the wrong section.I have a quick question.I have just bough a Golf Mk3 VR6 and the rear electric windows are puzzling me. It is a '96 (N plate) 5 door and neither of the rear windows are working. Even the little lights on the buttons dont light up. This makes me think it is a power problem. The front work fine but I was wondering, I have seen some golfs with a rear window switch in the dash to the left of the heated rear window switch but mine has just a hole with no switch or blanking plate. Should there be a switch here with a button in the middle to stop people in the back messing with the windows. I cant see both motors would be knackered.Sorry if I sound stupid as I am more used to Paintball forums.Any help would be great guys.Many thanksNige Link to post Share on other sites
SankysVR6 1 Posted June 1, 2007 Report Share Posted June 1, 2007 Yeah there should be switch on the dash for the rear windows.Might be a good idea to have a look to see if the wires are still there and attach a swich to see if they start to work.PS.
