Guest DUBAI-VR6 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Share Posted April 29, 2007 HI,I need some advice you you boys.I have found an absolutly mint 1994/1995 Corrado 2.9 VR6 with approx 60,000km (37,000 miles) on it. It is very very clean and everything seems i order after a very detailed prod. The car is an import from Japan (as they all are here in Dubai).Anyway, when I took it out for a spin it would not change up to 3rd. It just sat in 2nd at 6,000rpm.Has anybody any ideas on this? Suggestions have been low tranny oil, ECU etc.It may have been standing a while so could it just be gunked up? Or could it just be a dodgy sensor?I am thinking about getting the car at any rate as for the money it would be worth reboxing it (if thats the prob or a new ECU but any ideas would be much appreciated.Cheers.
