Dogsballx 30 Posted March 22, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 22, 2007 bin ongoing changed the plugs went away slightly down on power, started to missfire again, found the wiring to hall sensor fried, all this on snap-on scanner, replaced the wiring fault oof ground to earth gone but still a fault will sensor, sensor changed ok, ran it ok, got warm, under load missfire, but cannot seem to get it going at any pace realy bad juddering, :S Link to post Share on other sites

Yeah true, its not about which engine it is though its whether it has 2x2 pin sockets (early OBD1) or a 16 pin d-type connector (late OBD1 & OBD2 onwards). SankysVR6 1 Posted March 22, 2007 Report Share Posted March 22, 2007 Might be the HT leads,Try looking under the bonnet on night when it's missing to see if you can see any arcing around the HT leads, and maybe try to spary bit of water in spray bottle on the lead ends to help it arc a bit more. In the process of being sorted.Sorry to hijack this thread!Check the leads/plugs. If your getting arching from the ends of the leads that connect to the coilpack then try taking them off, cleaning around the connector and reseating them.
