john w 0
i recently bought some black diamond combi disks for my vr iv had the callipers apart with the 2 bolts with the corogated ruber on them and removed the pads...are there any other parts i have to remove from the callipers before removing the disk...also the phillips head bolt that holds the disks on is stuck, im frightend that a screw driver would chew the end up....my mate said i could just drill the end of and remove the disk, is that a good idea? are there any other ways of removing the bolt... craggsy 91
Carrier needs to come off as well.....to bolts behind disc. If you turn wheel so u can see behind its easier. If u drill the disc retaining screw out then really u need to get it out after disc is off
john w 0
would i have to replace the retaining screw...or would the wheel bolts hold it in place?
craggsy 91
Should replace retaining bolt as it stops disc coming loose when u take the wheel off....its a job i gotta do myself, i just drilled the head off the screw and left it. But i'm lazy
