BigAnt 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Report Share Posted March 4, 2007 Hi I purchased a '97 Golf VR6 on Friday. Yesterday after cleaning it out, I locked it. I then went back to it later and when I opened the door the alarm went off. Since then I haven't been able to dactivate it. Does anybody have any ideas on how to reset this alarm? henrob 0 Posted March 10, 2007 Report Share Posted March 10, 2007 Hi Antony,I had the same problem when i got mine,only thing that worked was disconnecting from the battery waiting about 30 minutes. after that is seems to behave, now anytime it starts any nonsence it gets the battery reset.You can also turn off the siren with the small alarm key, the control is beside the battery under a wee cover.Regards,keith Link to post Share on other sites
