jeggy 0 Posted February 6, 2007 Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 I have just purchased a Steering wheel boss and it doesnt seem to fit on my car it does say on the box that you need to remove a bush and it looks like if you take the metal bush part off that the boss will fit does anyone have any ideas on how i can get this on really wanting it fitted thanks for all your help so far guys great help Link to post Share on other sites

binliner 0 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Share Posted February 7, 2007 There are 2 sizes and it sounds like your boss is the smaller size and mk3s are the larger size... So you need to remove the splined collar on the steering column which will make it the right size. You need a gear puller to do it, something which any garage will have Link to post Share on other sites
