matth76 1
Hi what could cause this? My revs were above 3k revs when this happened. I then test drove my car again 5 mins later and it was fine in first gear, and I gave it full throttle to 5k revs and all was fine (slight vibration noise above 4k revs but that is normal in first gear). My clutch is fine (its a year old and bites well). It wasn't wheel spin. Has anyone else experienced this before? I don't normally rev it high in first gear as I have never needed to as its over so quick!I haven't noticed this before.Cheers for any help.Matt
Russ_vr6 12
edl cutting in mate? holds the brake on to stop wheel spin, feels like u loose power, and will make funny clicking noise which is the abs as the system works through the abs sensors
matth76 1
Cheers mate. I think you may be right. What does the edl stand for? Do all the vr6's come with this?
Russ_vr6 12
it stands for electronic diff lock matey, all vr's have it,when the abs sensors feel one wheel is spinning,it applys the brake to that wheel to stop you loosing traction,if u launch really hard it switches off tho lolit will make the same noise as if u brake really hard,a clicking type noise
