matski 0
Very annoying this! On averagely rainy roads,no problem at all.Go through a deeper puddle to either side, again ok. Go through one at a sensible speed (quick enough but not enough to create water plumes) and then it sounds like the exhaust is about to fall off and becomes very loud. At the same time there is a knocking from around the middle underside and the rear end becomes noisy. Then a few seconds down the road and all becomes as quiet as a mouse again! Surely it is designed for rough weather? I don't want to have to slow down to 20mph for every puddle! I've been underneath on a ramp and can see absolutely nothing loose or uncovered. Bigjobbo 0
If you shake the exhaust, does it hit the rear beam, or floor etc? It seems like the knock disappears once it has dried off, which makes me think it maybe getting to a rubber mount of some sort, and causing the knock.Good luck
