hi guys i got a remap done on my 95 obd2 1t has a bmc and powerflow exhaust, it turns out after reading through the forum that i did not need to bother should have done my homework!, anyway the problem i have is that when the engine is warm say after 15 mins use if i switch it off and then back on again it turns over once and then dies if i do the same thing but push the throttle as i start it it fires up , also when i am slowing down to a complete stop from any speed just at the instant i stop and revs go to idle the lights go dim and the whole car judders for an instant, can i swap the new re mapped ecu chip for the old one as it never did any of this before, any halp would be great cheers!

who done ur map m8? u could swap them back, some r push in chips, later ones r soldered in. i would speak to whom mapped ur car seems as if there could be a prob. also might b worth putting it on vag-com?

Definitely take it back to the place that did it - they should definitely fix your problems free of charge or failing that put it back to how it was and give you a refund. When they did the remap did they rolling road it at same time to check everything was running ok, or take it for a run down an open road while connected to a laptop with some diagnostic software? These checks verify that all the ignition timing and fuelling etc is correct and more importantly you don't have any pinking. If they didn't they should have. Let us know how you get on mate.
