stuey 0
Hi, here is a mod i have done to my standard airbox. I have replaced the panel with a K&N, and removed the trumpet in the lid. This makes for a nice induction noise imo while retaining some heat protection for the filter. When the trumpet is removed, it leaves a right angled edge on the exit of the airbox towards the airflow meter. I'm not an expert, but i thought a smoother inlet would be better.I got a new ali inlet normally used for a cai and modded it to fit inside the airbox lid. It wasn't easy but it should hopefully smooth the airflow in and give me 0.1 extra bhp
