Russ_vr6 12 Posted November 7, 2006 Report Share Posted November 7, 2006 right iv been told by a tuner of mine that no 6 cyliber is prone 2 wear,either the bore ityself wears or somethin like valve seat on that side,now he says take my pugs out and check to c what they look like,he says no 6 plug will most prob look oily,iv been 2 c him and he showed me 2 vr's in with him atm having engine work done coz of this and he told me he finds it quite coomon,so my plugs arte comin out this weekend to check,now im wondering if any of you guys have come across this before,and what are all ur oil consumption like? mine burns 1ltr of synta silver roughly every 1500-2000 miles Link to post Share on other sites

matth76 1 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Share Posted November 12, 2006 Oil consumption you have sounds normal for a VR. Mine uses the same amount. Not come across your other problem though. Maybe someone else has. If you ring Stealth or The Phirm (both are best in the business) they will give you lots of advice and tell you if it's common or not. Link to post Share on other sites
