57ORM 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Report Share Posted September 17, 2006 Morning Everyone,I was driving onto the motorway yesterday 180 degree slip road and give it the beans, car was handling fine and half way through the corner the oil light comes on and a strange beeping sound. Oil level is on max and reguarly serviced.Is this the oil pump on its way out? Also see the brake warning light flicker on now and then, brake fluid level is spot on any ideas?Don't want to damage the engine so I am driving a crappy escort for now. mk3anni 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Report Share Posted September 17, 2006 Common problem on VR's and other dubs tbh.The sumps arent baffled so the oil can all go to one side and starve the engine of oil.The brake wanring light is probably the same thing. Link to post Share on other sites
