If I disconnect my battery for 30secs; reconnect it and then try turning the ignition, the car starts fine. However, if I then switch the engine off and try starting it again, it fires up and then dies after 1sec!! I have to disconnect the battery again to start it. The RAC fella who got it started when it first happened plugged his RAC comp on to it and it showed an immoboliser fault. He said it could be the VW system as it wouldn't show faults if the TOAD alarm had any! Think I need a little trip to the auto electrician.. Link to post Share on other sites
