DAVE 2227 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Report Share Posted August 27, 2006 Just thought that I would pass on some info,if you don`t know this already,that as the Ford Galaxy and the VR6 engine is one and the same.Which you probably as I did knew anyway but my point is the price of parts.I had to replace the breather valve on my VR6 and went to VW dealers for said part."That`ll be £77 please" said parts bloke."That`ll be right" said I.So on the advice of someone from CGTI forum I went to Ford dealers showed the guy an ETOS pic of part and got it identified."That`ll be £25 please" A slight difference to say the least.So maybe others can add their list of parts available from Ford which are vastly priced different to save us all a few quid.Dave.Edit.just done search and it is old news.But still would be interested to know of other parts available.
