antera309 3 Posted June 11, 2004 Report Share Posted June 11, 2004 My wheel supplier (who's been in the game for years and is very knowledgeable) told me that 8x18" wheels will go on a Mk3 if the offset is right, but the arches must be rolled first.I'm not so sure about tyre choice. You might need 225/35/18sBear in mind that a 35 or 40 profile tyre gives the rim virtually no protection from potholes, raised manhole covers etc. You will need to learn to dodge these pretty well!!
