Jacking point (trolley jack) - where?

Here's a silly question for you all. I tried searching but received circa 15 pages of irrelevant results, despite my best efforts!

Assuming they are the same for both the Golf and Vento, where are the jacking points? I want to raise the front using a trolley jack. I cannot see anywhere obvious, either at the front, or the sides.

Find the sill jacking point, then look about 4-6 inches behind it, there;s a fuck off lump of metal next to the "chassis rail" for want of a better term.

Thanks for the replies. I want to have a good look around before I let the car go to a new home. I shall probably fit new rear brake discs & pads while I am at it ... watch this space for the next question, concerning jacking up the rear!
