Report Vr6 Camshaft position sensor (G40) Open Circuit/short with power in Engine Maintenance and Problems Posted January 24, 2020 Current getting this and idle speed regulation adaption limit exceeded.I have replaced the camshaft sensor with two different sensors just to make sure.I have 12v from 1-3 pin the connector and 5v from connector 2 (signal wire.)I have checked line 2 to the ecm pin 44 and even the solder point on the back of the board and im getting Continuity.Is this possibly a broken ecm ? i have checked everything at this point but does anyone have any tips ?I have even cut the 5 v cable at the connector and ran it straight to the ecm.Is there anything else i can check without a oscilloscope?

Current getting this and idle speed regulation adaption limit exceeded.
I have replaced the camshaft sensor with two different sensors just to make sure.
