Hi all, i'm new to this group and have been interested in the vr6 golfs for a short time honestly, but I didnt really know much about them.
They are growing on me more each day and some friends have them, they are great! I would love one to own one to drive and possibly upgrade in the future!
Looking for a mechanically sound VR6 manual, preferrably 3 door but not fussed, preferrably a darker colour but that isnt a big issue. Can be totally standard although being on coilovers would be ideal. Needs a valid MOT so it can be driven away if purchased.
It will need to be able to complete upto 100+ mile journeys (my main car is out of action currently) so it definitely needs to be mechanically good, thats the main sale point (but not a rust bucket)
Looking to spend around £1k mark
I see a few here and there but they either get snapped up before I can view or people dont seem to want to give test drives.
I will want to test drive any car before i pay for it, this is only fair and logical
