oh ok, what are some good turbo brands for the mk4 vr6?

i am currently working on my mk4 golf vr6 as a project car. i would like to add more hores power, maybe in the 300 to 400 hp for now. what mods can i do to my car? i know the CAI and 268 cams and exhaust will get me home hp but i also heard that replacing my head gaskets and puting in a spacer will also give me hp but i can find some who sell these spacers. Any help? Im Kinda new to VR6.
