    ill snap a pic when i get back to my house. but it is a 93 golf vr6 and right below the auto shift selector there is a turn style knob with e on one side and s on the other. the seller of the car told me it was for sport mode. and in the original car manual it has it pictured but i dont read german so that makes it tough.. lol

    So this may be a dumb question but ive looked around and Im trying to find out what the e and s knob in my golf will do. i have switched between the two and I have not seen a noticable difference. I assume its economy mode and sport mode. If anybody could help please do. Also remember im a newbie to vw, so go easy. Thanks Chad
