I haven't tried a socket as with the brace not fitting I thought that perhaps there's a special tool - if not I'll try a socket. They definately measure to be 22mm on mine?

Hi, I've just found this forum while trying to change my brake discs / pads. I came to start the job only to find I have the incorrect wheel brace as the spanner is clearly the wrong size. I bought a 22mm brace off eBay and found I can't get the end over the nut as it jams on the wheel!!! The wheels are the standard BBS VR6 alloys. Is there a certain make of wheel brace which is thin enough to fit or some sort of special tool?! Thanks for your help, John.
