Silencer gone and it roars. Sounds very gargly between 1500-4000rpm then fades out, Definatley sounds live a v6 now.Will give link to YouTube when uploaded

Hand blower will use loads of current because its heating the air aswell. Can use a capacitor from stereo equipment so the battery could handle it.

Do it. I kind of wish I went turbo, but I had a 2001 s3 before and that was nothing but a money pit. My a3 just needs a turbo/supercharger. Hopefully march time next year

Electric superchargers on ebay (turbonator) = not enough speed on fan therefore restricting airflow.

BUT.....

New dyson motor spins 130,000rpm mmmmmm....makes me wonder, what could be made....

How about using the dyson vacuum cleaner to create boost not suction, put the dyson vacuum

in your car boot, connect it to an inverter for power, make it blow not suck, and connect to inlet

manifold, if it creates boost it makes power....

ONE DYSON SUPERCHARGER.....what do you think???

So ive got a 2004 A3 3.2 V6 and wanted a bit more sound out of it but cheap.

I have revo stage 1 at the moment.

I did the 'flapper' mod a few weeks ago and was quite pleased, definately recomend (cheapest thing ever to do).

Next is to REMOVE SILENCER, the one just before the backbox. doing it this weekend so let you know how it goes, will have pics and video asap.
