Just been having a look at it today and its started but I have to keep up the revs or it just falls out, also get like a "pup pup pup" sound when just turning over with no revs?

Yeah I put some fresh fuel in it the other day, I'll give that coil a test thanks Russ and I've seen immobiliser and crank sensor a few times on other forums with the same issue.

Hi guys,
Just bought a new battery for my VR after the old one had just been completely drained after being of the road for 6months, it's started up now and then even drove it down to local garage to get MOT sorted but it just wouldn't start whilst at garage so didn't Bother with MOT and towed it back home, engine turns over but there is just no spark!
Any ideas would be grateful asIi want to get her on the road asap as I've missed my VR experience for a while and been stuck in a shitty Clio!!!

Hi guys,
Finally got my premium membership and decided to finally get started on the project at hand. plans are at first to get a MOT and on the road, I've a few Electrical issues at the mo i.e. Immobiliser but after that going to get the body work sorted and finally tune up the engine
I'll have pics up later on in the week!!

I wasn't really planing on telling them about the major mods just exhaust and air filter really, I know thats fraud but, if you can't beat um join um! thanks for the advice there oldmandon nice looking bit of artwork you've got yourself there, and everyone thanks for advice

Hi guys and dolls, maybe?
After the new year I shall be giving my undivided attention to my VR6 I've left it alone for a solid 6 months haven't even had it running due to some financial issues cough insurance so I'm going to wait until I'm 21 and it goes down somewhat.......
so the idea is get her up and running again and I want her to start off with a bang, not an explosions just some more power.
So whats the cheapest and easiest way to add some power for starters, I know obvious things like air filter but I will probably have the engine stripped so whilst Im doing so what could I be doing?
Will have pics up on progress in january.

Ive just noticed its near to the front of the engine maybe it could be alternator?
Its doing it when I accelerate also and not when clutch is down just when I accelerate

Hi Guys,
I've notice a whining noise when I start to put my foot down, also the car struggles to get it into 5th gear just wondering if there was any known issues or even if this is the gearbox and not the clutch or summit like that?

Well there is nothing leaking out of the coolant anymore but the pipes are still a bit tough.

Me and GrandMstRamRod drove up to Blackburn from ye old Chester to pick up my baby enjoyed the journey up there in his VR6
got there and there she was sitting in a drive next to a mk1 golf had an inspection little bit of rust here and there but pretty much a bargin for £700 it wasn't until I phoned up for the insurance and it was that, that felt like a rip off!!!!!!Agreed a sale with the bloke and took her away enjoying the 175bhp down the M6 until we were coming off a slip road and some silly b***h in a sh***y 206 pulled out right in front of me causing me to swerve into the middle barrrier almost hitting the thing and swerving back, (A good way of testing the handling
) Got her home and have had a bit of trouble with pressure in the coolant system. I also give her a sprucing up took her to a car wash and changed the oil also replaced a bulb that was out. Stuck in a temp sub which is pretty cool.
Waiting for a bit more money and I'm gona go crazy on it, planns are matt black paint with a neon green trim on calipers, badge etc. lowering it to 30mm and blacking out the alloys and windows also new performance brake system and air filter. Then going to colour the piping neon green aswell

I've just had another look into it and the crank case breather has snapped could this be the reason or another issue?

I think it's just building up pressure and then it's hitting the overflow hole could this just be due to pipes radiator or is it pretty much the head?

Hi Guys,
I've just rrecently bought a VR6 and have noticed my temp light flicking on and off so I looked under the hood and the coolant was pretty much gone this was from just after doing 100-110 miles I can see it coming out of the expansion tank but not to sure wether its just a breather hole or an actual hole and the cap also seems to come loose which I have seen to be a common thing, just need some advice on wether I buy a new tank or just a lid or something else pleaase help
