Thanks mate......but just did the replacement on the yellow sensor (which arrived white?) and now i'm not getting a reading at all? Think the gauge is dead?! Car isn't overheating so sod it

Hi, I have just replaced the thermostat and coolant sensor (blue) after constant fan running and 90 degree starting temp on the gauge !? Fan still running from cold*-) and.... Heres the weird thing,Cold bottom rad hose when its been running a while and temp gauge is bang on half when i switch ignition on from cold! Am i right to think it could be the water pump next? SOMEBODY HELP MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-(
