Hi Im new here in this forum and I am having problems starting my mk3 vr6, I will explain whats going on. Is a 2.8L VR6 DOHC I had a new head replaced on the car, new clutch, new flywheel, new timing chains, and new tensioners, new spark plugs, new spark cables, and new coil pack. The car has been parked for a year now due to these new items installed, now the car is ready to go and it wont start. I hear the starter and then a popping sound from the muffler but no start, also the oil light is flashing on the dash board. What do you think the problem is?
